Description

The Philadelphia Office of Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk ™s Contracting Department intends to issue a modification to an existing contract, (N00189-10-P-Z284) for contained development and implementation services of the Navy Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) website and underlying database. These services are in direct support of the Credentialing Program at the Center for Information Dominance (CID) Corry Station, Pensacola. The Navy intends to acquire these services on a sole source basis with Solutions for Information Design, LLC, (SOLID), Burke, VA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The services will include: Utilize current technology, tools and programming languages to improve efficiency, usability and accessibility of the COOL application and related systems; Eliminate the need for multiple systems (i.e., COOL database, WBTS, etc.); Utilize data within the COOL application to improve and expedite research, analysis, review and feedback, reporting, tracking, and document management; Provide access to the COOL application to Navy stakeholders; and Refresh the look and feel of the Web site to improve usability and reflect a more modern appearance. The estimated value of this modification is $750,000.00 and is intended to be awarded on 1 August 2011. The applicable NAICS Code for the requirement is 541511.
