- J & A SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION AND APPROVAL. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 6.302-2 (Unusual and Compelling Urgency), THE GOVERNMENT POSTS THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE REQUEST FOR QUOTE TO Fire & Pump Service Group, 1513 Del Oro Blvd., Carson CA. 90746-3173. THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: Replace 1500 gallon AFFF Bladder and Refill Bladder with AFFF foam (3% Mil Spec) for Fire Suppression System in Bldg 431, Luke AFB, AZ 85309. SCOPE: The work covered by this statement of work consists of changing out a 1500 gallon AFFF bladder, 120F degree, in an Arrow tank (Model Number: CC S3-1506HA; Serial Number: RV 1923-AT); and refill the bladder will 3% AFFF synthetic concentrate Military Specifications, MIL-F-24385F, (NSN: 4210-01-1440291). The contractor shall insure the installation of the new bladder and AFFF foam meets NFPA 11, NFPA 13A, and NFPA 25. The magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $60,000.
