- The US Army Contracting Command-Rock Island intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-10-R-0146. This soliciation is for a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) base contract plus three option years for the MK80 Bomb Body Series. MK82-1 Bomb Body P/N: 1380545 NSN: 1325-00-585-3841; MK82-6 Bomb Body P/N: 923AS960 NSN: 1325-01-559-1663; MK83-4 Bomb Body P/N: 2841464 NSN: 1325-00-104-7268; MK83-7 Bomb Body P/N: 923AS109 NSN: 1325-01-564-9947; MK84-4 Bomb Body P/N: 923AS105 NSN: 1325-01-008-1335; MK84-10 Bomb Body P/N: 923AS425 NSN: 1325-01-548-1296. Proposed contract will be Best Value and FOB is Destination. Detailed specifics of the technical and quality requirements will be provided in the solicitation. The technical data package is classified as Distribution D limited distribution. Distribution Statement D means that the TDP cannot be distributed on the Internet. This TDP contains technical data whose import is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act, (Title 22, U.S.C., SEC 27 51 ET SEQ.) or the Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended titled, 50 U.S.C. APP 2240, ET SEQ. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Disseminate IAW provisions of DOD Directive 52 30.25. Offerors must be registered with the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office to obtain the TDP. The technical data package (TDP) will NOT be available until after the solicitation is formally issued. The response date listed above is for archive purposes only and is NOT the date in which offers are due. The date offers are due will not be issued until the solicitation is issued. ESTIMATED solicitation issue date is 15 July 2011. This is an estimated date only and may be subject to change. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a)(1); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website at the following address via the internet: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
