- Description
- The Ottawa National Forest announces an opportunity for a Road Maintenance Multiple Award IDIQ for Roadside Mowing. It will be awarded for a base plus two option years with a maximum award limitation of $500,000. This first task order will be advertised with the initial solicitation. It is anticipated that this acquisition will be advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside and any resultant firm-fixed price contract award will be issued pursuant to FAR Part 19. This work will be performed during the base year to December 31, 2013. A pre-bid meeting/site visit is scheduled for the week of July 11, 2011, the time and location will be specified in the solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 115310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $7.0 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. The Request for Quotations will be posted to the FedBizOpps website on or about June 30, 2011. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. The Contractor shall provide any and all equipment, labor, supplies, tools, supervision, transportation, materials including safety and other incidentals necessary to perform all work for the maintenance activities located within the boundaries of the Ottawa National Forest, in accordance with the specifications, exhibits and clauses contained or referenced herein. Individual tasks to be performed will be listed on individual task orders written against an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
