- (Draft) Performance Work Statement - Dated 4 April 2011 SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking potential sources to provide a comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging Quality Assurance Program for the 88th Medical Group at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for market research purposes to identify potential capable sources and to assist the Air Force in making a small business set-aside decision. The Air Force anticipates a competitive acquisition for a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract lasting five years. See attachment 1 - "Performance Work Statement" for more detail on contract requirements. The contract line Items will be firm-fixed price. Firms responding should indicate their capabilities in providing a comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging Quality Assurance Program which will satisfy the requirements of the ACR Programs for Mammography, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Barium Enema, and Nuclear Medicine. This contract will also include line items for locum tenens coverage by a diagnostic imaging medical physicist, a certified medical dosimetrist, and a radiation therapy physicist. When submitting your capabilities package, please state whether or not you can meet these requirements. Firms responding should indicate whether they are a large or small business. If a small business, please specify the type (e.g. SDVOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, VOSB, etc.). The general definition of a small business is one that is independently owned and operated, is not dominant in the field of operation in which it is proposing on Air Force contracts and with its affiliates; and the average annual receipts does not exceed $13.5 Million. NAICS Code to be used for this acquisition is 621512 "Diagnostic Imaging Centers". The Air Force reserves the right to consider a set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent acquisition. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/Foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this synopsis as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose. The Government's evaluation of the capability statements received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition or as a set-aside for small businesses, or any particular small business designation (e.g. SDVOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, VOSB, etc.).
