- Description
- The Huntington District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for demolition/remediation services for the Huntington District. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract, competitively negotiated, Not-To-Exceed (NTE) $2,000,000.00. The contract will be awarded for a base year with four additional one-year options. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been evaluated as most advantageous to the Government, price and all technical factors and subfactors considered. The contract requires the contractor to be capable of mobilizing sizeable crews and equipment to multiple work sites within a 24-hour time period after notification. All responsive proposals will be evaluated utilizing the following technical factors listed in descending order of importance: (A) Specialized Experience and Technical Competence; (B) Past Performance on Department of Defense (DoD) and other contracts; (C) Management and Administration Plan with subfactors: (1) Safety; (2) Quality Control; and (3) Personnel & Organization; and (D) Equipment. Award shall be made to the offeror whose proposal provides the best value to the Government. Solicitation documents will be available on or about June 29, 2011, online at http://www.fbo.gov. To be eligible for contract award, all contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov, or by contacting the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414.
