Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT SFO 9WA2340 Expressions of Interest Sought The US Government currently occupies office space in a building under lease in Yakima, WA, that will be expiring on August 31, 2012. State: Washington City: Yakima Delineated Area: Offered Properties shall be located within the delineated area of the Central Business District of Yakima, Washington. Both sides of boundary streets shall be considered. Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 3,011 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 3,312 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Surface): Surface parking spaces per code requirements Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 10 years Firm Term: 5 years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: Space is preferred on the second floor or higher, but first floor space will be considered. The Government requires contiguous space. Expressions of Interest Due: June 20, 2011 - 4:30 PM PDT Offers Due: TBD Occupancy (Estimated): September 5, 2012 Offered space must meet Government requirements, as per the terms of the Lease for: 1. Fire safety 2. Accessibility (ABAAS) 3. Seismic 4. Sustainability 5. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. 6. Offered space shall not be in the 100/500 year flood plain. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Expressions of interest must include the following information: •1. Building name and address and location of the available space within the building; •2. Rentable square feet available and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced; •3. ANSI/BOMA office area-(ABOA) square feet to be offered and expected rental rate per ABOA square foot, fully serviced. Indicate whether the quoted rental rate includes an amount for tenant improvements and state the amount, (if any); •4. Date of space availability; •5. Building ownership information; •6. Amount of parking available on-site and its cost. Include whether expected rental rate includes the cost of the required Government parking, (if any); •7. Energy efficiency and renewable energy features existing within the building; •8. List of building services provided; •9. Your letter must include the SFO # listed above and mailed to the Broker with a copy to the Lease Contracting Officer listed below. The Government's decision regarding whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement.
