- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Service Liaison office is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to evaluate vendors to provide air shuttle service between Washington, DC (Ronald Regan Airport) and Oklahoma City (Will Rogers Airport). The FAA currently has an air shuttle program between the William J. Hughes Technical Center (Atlantic City Airport) and Washington, DC (Ronald Regan Airport). The FAA is seeking information on air shuttle vendors who could operate at a minimum of two round trips per week with an aircraft that is capable of flying a minimum of 12 passengers with associated luggage on a non-stop flight between OKC and DCA. It is expected that the program will operate on Mondays and Thursdays with 2 round trips per day. Additionally, the FAA requirement is for the vendor to have a back-up aircraft available within an hour which would be able to operate the program should the primary aircraft be unavailable for any reason. A technical evaluation review will be conducted of all responses. Responses will be accepted until July 1, 2011. Both email and U.S. mail submittals will be accepted. Responses should include photographs and information aircraft such as make, model, year, seating configuration and cost per flight. This RFI is for information-gathering purposes only, as provided in the FAA's Acquisition Management System (AMS). This is not a solicitation or Screening Information Request (SIR). The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI. No solicitation document exists at this time. Financial reimbursement for use of any equipment will not be provided. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
