- FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT :Denis Chan, Electronics Engineer, (732)532-1894 This urgent notice attempts to identify additional sources to meet a 12 months field service support requirement for SINCGARS FSA in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The Field Service Representative(s) (FSRs) will perform forward screening of SINCGARS Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) for Direct Support (DS) level repairs. The FSRs will also provide technical assistance to those DS locations and/or local customers that are within the Kandahar, Afghanistan site locations. This work will be performed by the contractor in Government owned facilities at a FSA located at the Electronic Sustainment Support Center/Regional Support Center in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The FSRs are required to have extensive and in-depth knowledge and familiarity with SINCGARS circuit design and theory of operation. They must also have the proper security clearance and be able to start work in Afghanistan in July 2011. Sources capable of meeting the above requirements, shall respond in writing. The response shall include a short introductory description (unclassified) outlining a viable approach that meets the above needs and schedule.
