Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Activity plans to contract by means of other than full and open competition to renew software licensing for the existing patient CareTracker system, originally purchased from Triplett and Adams (Resource Systems) in 2009. The system is used by the VA Medical Center at Salisbury, North Carolina. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement under the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The NAICS code is 511210 and the classification code is 7020. The suggested vendor is Resource Systems, Inc. (parent company is Triplett and Adams), 140 S. Friendship Drive, New Concord, OH 43762-0129; the price is estimated to be $35,460.00 for the license renewal.
