- J&A No. HQ-82-C-1030/1032/1034/1036 J&A No. HQ-82-C-1019/1021/1023 Military Sealift Command has bilaterally executed modifications to contracts N00033-82-C-1019, N00033-82-C-1021, and N00033-82-C-1023 for the operation and maintenance of USNS SGT Matej Kocak, SS PFC Eugene A. Obregon, and USNS MAJ Stephen W. Pless. The modifications extended the contract period of N00033-82-C-1019 by 181 days, until May 15, 2011, and incorporated an option period of 77 days, extending the contract until July 31, 2011. The modifications extended the contract period of N00033-82-C-1021 by 182 days, until March 31, 2011, and incorporated an option period of 122 days, extending the contract until July 31, 2011. The modifications extended the contract period of N00033-82-C-1023 by 110 days, until May 15, 2011, and incorporated an option period of 77 days, extending the contract until July 31, 2011. These extensions are necessary due to GAO protests in response to the award of a contract under a competitive follow-on procurement. A lapse in service would have occurred without the modifications to extend. Military Sealift Command has bilaterally executed modifications to contracts N00033-82-C-1030, N00033-82-C-1032, N00033-82-C-1034 and N00033-82-C-1036 for the operation and maintenance of USNS PFC Dewayne T. Williams, USNS 1st LT Baldomero Lopez, USNS 1st LT Jack Lummus, and USNS SGT William R. Button. The modifications extended the contract period of N00033-82-C-1030 by 237 days, until April 30, 2011, and incorporated an option period of 92 days, extending the contract until July 31, 2011. The modifications extended the contract period of N00033-82-C-1032 by 162 days, until April 30, 2011, and incorporated an option period of 92 days, extending the contract until July 31, 2011. The modifications extended the contract period of N00033-82-C-1034 by 150 days, until July 31, 2011. The modifications extended the contract period of N00033-82-C-1036 by 70 days, until July 31, 2011. These extensions are necessary due to GAO protests in response to the award of a contract under a competitive follow-on procurement. A lapse in service would have occurred without the modifications to extend.
