- Update to SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Date: 13 Jun 2011 Title: Battlefield Effects Simulator (BES) II Contract Contract Vehicle: Single Award ID/IQ The purpose of this notice is to provide the Consolidated list of questions and answers received from the previously released Request For Information (RFI) on the BES II DRAFT requirement documents. Please see the attached file "Consolidated Q&A BES II RFI 7 Jun 11.pdf." As this RFI has closed, the Government is not seeking any further questions/comments regarding the existing DRAFT requirement documents, however, the Government does intend to release a DRAFT Request For Proposals (RFP) in the near future. It is intended that a question and answer session will be conducted to receive industry questions and comments on the revised DRAFT RFP documents. The Government anticipates a Final RFP release in approximately 1st quarter FY12 and intends to evaluate demonstrations of the BES II product(s) as part of the Final RFP.
