- Provide Army Medical Department (AMEDD) commanders, managers, and consultants with a responsive and reliable human resource and readiness, information-management data system for all categories of military and Department of the Army (DA) civilian medical and support personnel. In order to accomplish this mission, the Government will continue to use teams of Office of The Surgeon General (OTSG), Medical Command (MEDCOM) staff, and contractor personnel to maintain existing application systems, upgrade and enhance existing application systems, and to extend and expand existing capabilities in an evolutionary manner. As directed by the MODS Configuration Control Board (MCCB), web-based conversion will continue for non-web based applications.
