Description
The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Procurement Services, intends to issue a solicitation to acquire Research Support Services for research study in the following three (3) subject areas: Topic A: Sustainable Livelihoods in Developing Countries; Topic B: The Relationship between Working Conditions and Product Quality; and Topic C: Methodologies for Measuring Harm from Violation of Labor Provisions in Trade Agreements. For the purposes of efficiency, these topics are being combined into one solicitation rather than issuing three separate solicitations for each topic. The resultant award may result in award to a single contractor for all topics or split awards combining one (1) or more topics. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541720 ($7.0M). The solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis. Commercial Items Provisions and clauses in accordance with FAR Part 12 are applicable to this requirement. Prospective offerors must be registered in the CCR data base prior to award of contract. Prospective contractors may register electronically via website: www.ccr.gov. The due date and time for submission of offerors will be specified in the solicitation. Offerors shall be responsible for checking for possible amendments to solicitation until it closes. Facsimile and E-mail submission of offers are not acceptable. Offers must be hand-delivered or mailed to the Office of Procurement Services, U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Room S4307, Washington, DC, 20210. The outside envelope shall indentify the applicable solicitation number. The solicitation will be available on or about June 23, 2011. Consideration will be given to all interested parties responsive to the solicitation. Responses to this notice must be sent via email to: white.brenda.j@dol.gov or alternate at Mitchell.cassandra@dol.gov. No phone calls will be accepted.
