- This announcement is for information and planning purposes only; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Domestic Nuclear Detection Office Acquisition Division (DNDOAD) will seek proposals for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Program, Phase I. The objective of the DHS/DNDO/SBIR Program is to include stimulating technological innovation, strengthening the role of small business in meeting research and development needs, fostering and encouraging participation by socially and economically disadvantaged small business concerns in technological innovation, and increasing the commerical application of DHS supported research or R&D results. The Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR), solicitation document will be available at: www.fedbizopps.gov on or about June 13, 2011.
