Description

This amendment is issued to answer the following questions. QUESTION: I was hoping to learn the incumbent details on this requirement. Specifically, I'm interested in: Contractor, Contract ID#, Contract Value, Expiration date ANSWER: Contractor: COSTAR Services, Contract ID#: W91248-08-P-0007 Contract Value: $606,160.00 Expiration Date: 31 May 2011 QUESTION: The contract asks for two inspectors, but CLIN 0001 computes to 2.66 man years. Can we modify the bid form to calculate what we are quoting and where do we put the 0.66 man year cost? Also, the same for the overtime. How do we divide the overtime for two employees? Do we assume 125 hours each? ANSWER: See Revised Bid Schedule at the end of this amendment. The requirement is for a quantity of two (2) each employees of equal qualification for a total of 4,000 hours each year. We do not pay for vacation or holidays. We expect service every day except holidays and weekends. Overtime will not be required. Hourly Rate (Burden Rate) shall include, but is not limited to, Wages, Holiday Pay, Sick Leave, Insurance, Vacation Pay, and items indicated in Work Statement. Contractor shall only bill for actual hours worked. The 4000 (2000 hours for each employee) maximum is based on 8 hours per day/ 5 days per work week schedule, excluding vacation, holidays, and sick days. Contractor shall provide a qualified substitute employee(s) when an employee(s) is out for (3) or more days. If an employee is out for three (3) or less days, monthly payment will reduced in the amount of the offerors' hourly rate for every hour an employee is not present. This includes sick leave, vacation time, or any time the employee takes extended lunch hours or leaves the work day early.
