- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWCPCD), Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Diamond Systems Corporation, 555 Ellis Street, Mountain View, CA, 94043, on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The required components are HRC800-5A512 Hercules II processor card, with conformal coating and FD-256R-XT disk drive. The Hercules processor card was chosen because it is the only card that met all the environmental, digital, and analog requirements. During system development, custom software has been written and the custom enclosure has been made to house the components. Changing Diamond Computer System components will require a rewrite of the software and probable design changes of the custom enclosure for US Navy Navigation Directors. Simplified Acquisition is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 334111 with size standard of 1,000 employees. The order shall be firm fixed priced with an estimated delivery date of two weeks from date of award. The expected award date is 21 June 2011. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
