- The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to furnish all materials, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to wedge and level, install a one inch asphalt overlay and provide a four inch center line stripe on approximately 3.9 miles of Flint Ridge Road located within both Edmonson and Hart Counties in Mammoth Cave National Park, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. The solicitation will include each of the three tasks as separate line items to allow for procurement of as much as there is funding available. All services may not be awarded if there is insufficient funding. Work shall be concluded within 30 days of the start date. Magnitude of this project is $150,000 to $200,000. Procurement is being conducted under full and open competition procedures. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 237310 with a size standard of $31.0 million. This notice is not the solicitation. The solicitation package will be available on or about June 29, 2011, with original bids due on or about July 29, 2011 (see solicitation for exact date bids are due). The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The Standard Form 1442 is available at the website by clicking on the "printer friendly form" link. The remainder of the solicitation (including all pertinent attachments) is available at the site by clicking on the link "clauses and attachments," which is located in the blue box near the middle of the screen. Bidders wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideas.nbc.gov.
