- Beckman Equipment Service and Maintenance Contract RFQ The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), a medical university and a Department of Defense Agency, has a requirement for four (4) Beckman DU-640 Spectrophotometer full service maintenance contracts and one (1) Beckman LS6500 Series Scintillation Counter full service maintenance contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, number HU0001-11-T-B043, is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for one base year plus two option years. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to monitor Federal Business Opportunities, http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ for the issuance of any changes/updates to the solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation and incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-52. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses and the applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard is $19 Million. The place of performance is Bethesda, MD 20814, USA. Please see attached RFQ
