- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F1C2MU1159A001, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 423310 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: CLIN 0001- (Qty 108 EA) 1 in x 4 in x 8 ft lumber (must be heat treated) CLIN 0002- (Qty 3810 EA) 2 in x 4 in x 8 ft lumber (must be heat treated) CLIN 0003- (Qty 8 EA) 2 in x 4 in x 12 ft lumber (must be heat treated) CLIN 0004- (Qty 3804 EA) 2 in x 6 in x 8 ft lumber (must be heat treated) CLIN 0005- (Qty 932 EA) 2 in x 10in x 8 ft lumber (must be heat treated) CLIN 0006- (Qty 510 EA) 4in x 4in x 8ft lumber (must be heat treated) CLIN 0007- (Qty 308 EA) 3/4 inch plywood 4 ft x 8ft sheet (must be heat treated) CLIN 0008- (Qty 279 EA) ½ inch plywood 4ft x 8ft sheet (must be heat treated) CLIN 0009- (Qty 29856 EA) 6D (2in) Nails (Strip Clips) CLIN 0010- (Qty 38222 EA) 10D (3in) Nails (Strip Clips) CLIN 0011- (Qty 1280 EA) 12D (3-1/4 in) Nails (Strip Clips) CLIN 0012- (Qty 1800 EA) 2 in x 8 in x 8 ft lumber (must be heat treated) CLIN 0013- (Qty 1 EA) Shipping directly to Andersen AFB, Yigo, Guam 96929 Lumber shall be TM 743-200-1 (Dunnage Lumber), FED SPEC MM-L-751 and Voluntary product standard PS 20. Nails will be ASTM F1667; Common Steel Nail (NLCMS or NLCMMS) with nail gun being SENCO Framepro 702XP. Items should be shipped 14 Days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to 36 MUNS/Andersen AFB, Guam. Offers will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror by 1. Delivery date and 2. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Delivery date having more significant importance than cost. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov and shall be considered for award. Responses to this RFQ must be received via e-mail, by Sunday 19 June 2011, 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
