- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. NO FURTHER SOLICIATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Q9855110025 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. (iv) This procurement is being issued as Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 454319 with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following fuel: The National Park Service (NPS) requires, on a fixed-price with economic price adjustment basis, up to 4,000 gallons/LBS of Propane over a 4 - month period June 2011 to September 2011, distributed on as needed basis to Lake Clark National Park, Port Alsworth, AK 99653. Please note that Port Alsworth, AK primarly is reached by aircraft. Propane will be delivered to the Park through-out the summer season. Park has 100 lbs tanks that may be filled or exchanged, Park Ideally would like a 500 lb tank that could be traded as needed. Contractor shall deliver within 1 week of request, Must coordinate delivery with on-site Park personnel prior to delivery. Please note that Port Alsworth, AK primarly is reached by aircraft This requirement is issued as Small Business Set-Aside if no Responsive or Responsible Small Business Quotes are received the Small Business set aside shall be dissolved automatically The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
