- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE CLASSIFICATION CODE: 99 SUBJECT: Breeding, Housing and Maintaining Strain 13 Guines Pig Colony SOLICITATION NUMBER: W81XWH-11-T-0378 RESPONSE DATE FOR QUESTIONS: Thursday, June 23,2011 12:00 pm est. SOLICITATION CLOSE DATE: Friday, July 22, 2011 1:00 pm est. CONTACT POINTS: Kimberly Hannan, Purchasing Agent, 301-619-3490; or Tonya Kreps, Contracting Officer, 301-619-2519. This acquisition is being solicited as an unrestricted requirement. The standard classification NAICS code 541990. The requirement will include a one year period of performance with four one year options. DESCRIPTION: The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for an off-site contractor to handle breeding, housing, maintaining and delivering upon request USAMRIID's Strain 13 Guinea Pig Colony All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about, June 10, 2011, Any questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by Thursday June 23, 2011 by 12:00 pm est. This is will be a one time question/answer opportunity and will not be extended or given at a later time. If questions are not received by the deadline they will not be addressed. Specifications of the requirement are provided in solicitation: W81XWH-11-T-0378. The final proposals are due Friday, July 22, 2011 at 1:00pm. No extensions will be given. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. To be eligible for an award, offerors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry at https://ccr.gov/ and may have completed its representations and certification found at https://orca.bpn.gov/.
