- Washers, Dryers, & Refrigerators This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F3B7BQ1133AN01 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. This acquisition is unrestricted. //Schedule of items: This requirement is for Zanussi Washer OR EQUAL. //CLIN 0001: 28 ea Zanussi Washer, Model Number ZWG5125, Color: White OR EQUAL Required Salient Characteristics: Design Type Freestanding Washing Capacity 6kg Spin Speed 1200rpm Height 850 MM Width 600 MM Depth 590 MM Color White Warranty 1 Year from the date of the item leaves the Government Staging Warehouse for use. NOTE: Items may remain in the Government Staging Warehouse for up to 2 years prior to use. The Government tracks each items date of departure from the Government Staging Warehouse via an Air Force Form 4302 which is placed on the individual item at the time of the departure. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution.
