- RCO Livorno Sub-Office is issuing this notice to solicit industry interest in the following project. The purpose of this notice is to advertise the forthcoming solicitation to the maximum number of offerors. PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: CONSTRUCT PAD 15, PROJECT AA1-00227-4; USAG LIVORNO, CAMP DARBY, ITALY DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The project consists of the construction of a reinforced concrete pad in an area to be cleared from vegetation. The pad will be provided with a catenary type lighting protection system and protected by a reinforced concrete and earth barricade wall. FUNDING: The project is subject to the availability of funds. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The site of the proposed work is: AMMUNITION STORAGE AREA, USAG LIVORNO, Italy. METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for IFB (Invitation for Bids) resulting in a Firm Fixed Price contract. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: 190 DAYS SOA CATEGORY: OG1 SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on Wednesday, June 29th, at 9:00 a.m. MEETING POINT FOR THE SITE VISIT: Gate 4, Camp Darby, USAG Livorno, Italy. Main Gate- Camp Darby (Gate no.4). Only the persons which have provided the personal data will be allowed to perform the site visit. The US Government Personnel will check the identification card at the entrance of Camp Darby Gate. The offerors not present on the list will be denied the entrance of the Base. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate all interested parties are invited to indicate their interest by submitting a written request not later than close of business (COB) 20 June 2011 to the following e-mail address: judy.biboum@eur.army.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number (W912PF-11-B-0004) and the name of the company, the address, the phone number and fax and your e-mail address. Please indicate also the name of the person(s) will be present at the site visit: first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, type and number of identification document. Your information will allow the entrance of your representative. No more than two representatives per company allowed. This information will be submitted to the competent authority in order to obtain the authorization to enter the Base. We inform you that our computer does not provide proof of your mail receipt.
