Description
The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire OHE Outfitting for T-AKE-11 (MK 1 Mod 1 Strongback). The Mk 1 Mod 1 Strongback is used during connected replenishment (CONREP) for transferring cargo. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The non-commercial items will be solicited in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The proposed firm fixed price contract is for two (2) manufactured beam assemblies in conformance with NAVSEA drawing 6212549 REV-C, four (4) manufactured cross beams in conformance with NAVSEA drawing 6212545 REV-D, and four (4) manufactured cargo hook adapters in conformance with NAVSEA drawing 2580413 REV-G. The material must be compatible in all aspects with existing systems presently installed. The specifications and dimensions have to be met exactly. No waivers or deviations from the original drawing will be granted. The NAICS code is 332710 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Delivery location for the items is Colts Neck, New Jersey 07722. All delivery costs associated with items 0001, 0002, and 0003 should be included in the unit price for each item. The required delivery date will be on or before 01 September 2011. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All information received within 10 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
