- Request for Quotation The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement to purchase a Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA) for the FHWA Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) Laboratory. FHWA requires that the TGA include detection and quantification of trace organic and inorganic volatiles, isothermal and non-isothermal kinetics with purge gas switching, and rapid fingerprinting. FHWA requires that the TGA instrument detect minute changes; sensitivity and baseline stability. Potential offerors are to read the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) in its entirety and submit quotes that must meet or exceed the list of specifications on the attached RFQ. This is a Simplified Acquisition and will be awarded on a best value basis. The SAP threshold is $150,000. The anticipated award date is June 22, 2011.
