- Questions and Answers Davis Bacon wage determination dated 5/27/11 Amendment No. 001 This project will be to replace the heaving and damaged exposed aggregate sidewalks in front of, and the walk gate at the rear of, the U.S. Historic Federal Building, Anchorage, AK. The project will be managed by General Services Administration, Anchorage, AK. FAR 36.204 The magnitude of construction for this project is b etween $25000 and $100,000. Work shall be executed in accordance with the Government specifications and the Summary of Work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project will be 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Business Size Standard is $33,500,000 in average annual receipts for the last three years. May 17, 2011 - posting complete solicitation package, which includes the project plans and specifications. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to keep updated. This project will be solicited as a 100% set-a-side for Small Business with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract based on "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" process. Site visit will be held on May 24, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Historic Federal Building, 605 W 4th Ave, Anchorage, Alaska. Contractors must send an email to valerie.flynn@gsa.gov or fax to (907)271-3086 to be included in this visit. No phone calls will be accepted. June 6, 2011 - Amendment No. 001 posted. Issued 6/2/11. Due date for offers is NOT extended. This amendment incorporates updated Davis Bacon wage rates and answers questions received to date.
