- Description
- Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Washington, is soliciting sources for Grease Exhaust and Dryer Vent Cleaning Services. Responses to this Sources Sought may be used by the government to determine contract strategies. NAVFAC encourages everyone interested to respond. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform Grease Exhaust and Dryer Vent System Cleaning services for facilities throughout Naval District Washington. The Contractor shall perform cleaning and sanitation for Exhaust Hoods, Ducts and Associated Equipment and Dryer Vent Systems. Work shall include the hoods, plenums, fans, fan housing, grease removal devices, weatherproof covers and the full length of ventilating ducts. Place of contract performance: Naval bases throughout Naval District Washington, within a 100 mile radius of the Washington Navy Yard. Locations include: Joint Base Anacostia/Bolling, (JBAB), Washington DC; Marine Corps Barracks at 8th&I, Washington DC; Naval Research Laboratory, Washington DC; and the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. ***Note: Interested parties should respond by returning the attached Sources Sought Questionnaire no later than 5pm EST July 1, 2011. The Sources Sought Questionnaire may be mailed to the address in number 6 above, or submitted by email to Karen Edmonds at karen.edmonds@navy.mil.
