- US Army Contracting Command (ACC-WRN) proposes to award a sole source firm fixed price commercial contract to Silicon Graphics International Corporation, 44600 Landing Parkway, Freemont, CA, 94538, for the purchase of continued unclassified hardware maintenance and warranty coverage. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are no other firms that can satisfy this requirement. Award of this contract will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement to CPT Eric C. Pena, Contract Specialist, e-mail: eric.c.pena.mil@mail.mil, no later than 5:00 PM EST, JUNE 10, 2011. A determination by the Government not to open competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
