Description

SPARE: This acquisition is to add two spares NSNs to an existing IDIQ contract (Contract # F09603-03-D-0002) for calendar years 2011 and 2012. They are applicable to the AWACS program. The items are as follows: NSN: 5955-01-050-4963 Noun: Oscillating Group Best Estimated Quantity for CY11: 13 each Best Estimated Quantity for CY12: 1-13 each NSN: 5895-01-162-7587 Noun: Transmitter Assy Best Estimated Quantity for CY11: 4 each Best Estimated Quantity for CY12: 1-8 each The proposed contract action is sole source to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Cage Code 97942, under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not currently own the data. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The approximate solicitation issue date is 22-June-2011.
