- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: Rental of a Eurocopter (A-STAR) AS350 B2 Helicopter, est. 12-Hours; experienced SAG Pilot Services, 2 days; FAA certified Cineflex Camera system, 2 days rental; Cineflex Cameraman/Tech, 2 days rental; Qty 1 lot. This requirement is sole sourced South Coast Helicopters, Inc., 3940 Artesia Ave., Fullerton, California 92833-2500 as the only vendor able to provide the specified helicopter with approved hardware and technician. Additionally, South Coast has the only SAG pilot available with the documented experience flying for US Government Projects and 30 hours minimum knowledge/experience flying over the Land Ranges of China Lake. Any firms believing that they can provide the services stated above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the services without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
