- SAWTOOTH MOUNTAINS TRAILS MAINTENANCE PROJECT -- SAWTOOTH SNRA IN APPROXIMATELY 1 DAY, THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS SERVICE PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO VIEW AND PRINT. This project consists of maintenance of 178.8 miles of trails in two items, on the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The trails are a mix of Wilderness, non- wilderness, motorized and non-motorized. Motorized transportation will not be allowed on nonmotorized trails. Chain saws and other motorized equipment are not allowed on Wilderness trails. The contractor will furnish all necessary supervision, equipment, tools, labor and transportation required to complete the project. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION The project is located on the Sawtooth National Recreation Area on the Sawtooth National Forest. The project is Wilderness and Non-Wilderness land.
