- The Contracting Office of the Chugach National Forest, in Anchorage, Alaska anticipates posting a request for proposal (RFP) for the accessibility retrofit of a 12 person bunkhouse on the Cordova Ranger District of the Chugach National Forest in Cordova, Alaska. Work is planned to start in October 2011. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: an accessibility retrofit of the existing 12-Person Bunkhouse at the Cordova Work Center in Cordova, Alaska. Work includes the renovation of the entrance, vestibule, shower room, toilet room, and bedrooms on the west end of the building, TV room, commons/dining area, kitchen, pantry, corridor, laundry room, and the laundry room access. Work also includes the installation of a new ramp on the west end of the building. It is anticipated that request for proposal package will be posted on or about 21 June 2011 (pending receipt of funding). This requirement will be posted as a total small business set-aside. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified, via email, of any changes to the project. INTERESTED VENDORS LIST (IVL): To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. In order to be eligible for contract award, Vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
