- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST A FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS: 325120 (b) NR OF EMPLOYEES: 500 The purchase of DRY ICE PELLETS, delivered as stated below: Dry Ice Pellets shall be delivered to two separate locations on Robins AFB to cover a 12-month period beginning 1 Jul 2011 through 30 Jun 2012. Approximately 500-575 lbs per week to Bldg 125 (not to exceed 30000 lbs per year), and approximately 1050-1175 lbs per week to Bldg 169 (not to exceed 58000 lbs per year). Deliveries will be made every Wednesday (excluding holidays), with the possibility of every other Wednesday, depending on demand. Delivery hours are from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Contractor must provide containers at both locations (front opening in Bldg 169), and must also monitor tanks to ensure proper levels are maintained at all times. Full addresses and Points of Contact will be provided at time of award. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. DFARS 252.232.7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests (WAWF is the method used by DoD for processing invoices/receiving reports.) In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be price and price related factors. IAW FAR 52.212-3, Reps/Certs should be completed on-line at www.bpn.gov. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations should be emailed to Becky Cochran (becky.cochran@robins.af.mil) no later than 10 Jun 2011, 6:00 pm EST.
