- Ophthalmology Physician Services - a.Contractor shall provide Ophthalmology specialty services to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220 and associated Eye Center, 2929 Highland Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219, as it is needed. The Contractor shall be responsible for on-site general and specialty staff services that include glaucoma, retina, plastics, neuro-ophthalmology, general ophthalmology, oncology and ocular motility. Services are to include on-site clinics, consultations, operative and non-operative procedures (laser or surgical as appropriate) and pre- and post-operative care. a.Retina includes clinics, consultative services, laser procedures and surgical procedures. b.Plastic includes clinics, consultative services and surgical procedures. c.Glaucoma includes clinics, consultative services, laser procedures and surgical procedures. d.Eye Muscle & Ocular Motility includes consultative services, clinics and surgical procedures. e.Neuro-Ophthalmology includes consultative services, clinics and surgical procedures. f.General Ophthalmology includes consultative services, clinics and surgical procedures. No surgical procedure shall be performed without the presence of a board certified or board eligible Ophthalmologist in attendance, including emergency surgical procedures. THIS IS NOT FOR A LOCUM TENEMS CONTRACT.
