- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Phlebotomy Technician Services for the inmate population of the Federal Correctional Institution, Greenville, Illinois. The contract period shall consist of one base year from the Effective Date of Award thru September 30, 2012 and four 12- month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. It is estimated the contractor will provide 1440 sessions per year. A session is defined as one hour in duration. The solicitation will be available on or about June 9, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.ccr.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is 2:00 P.M. CT July 21, 2011, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 621999 with a size standard of $10.0 million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is September 1, 2011.
