- Amendment 4 This pre-solicitation synopsis replaces SP4500-10-R-0018. The requirement for hazardous waste removal at Barstow and surrounding area will be released on solicitation SP4500-11-R-0007. The RFP is a firm fixed, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), 100% Small Business Set-Aside request for proposal. The anticipated issuance of the above listed solicitation shall be issued on or around April 20 2011, the closing date is June 17 2011. The solicitation will be posted to Fedbizopps. A pre-proposal conference will be held in Barstow CA on May 12th, see DLAD 52.215-9007 in the solicitation for details. The award will have an 18 month base period and 2 18 month option periods. The contract will include FAR 52.217-8 which allows up to 6-months of extension of services. Performance will be requested by issuance of written task orders against the contract periods. All prospective contractors and subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations governing the handling, disposal, and transportation of various types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material and comply with environmental protection laws.
