- Due to an awaited final approval from Agency Level the Solicitation will be released once the approval is received. It will happen shortly but an exact date is unknown at this time. However it should happen within the next few days. Many have been asking for the exact location of the non-mandatory site visit. Please see below: A pre-proposal conference will be conducted on 9 June 2011 at 10:00am for the purposes of briefing on the proposal requirements and answering questions regarding this solicitation. This conference will be held at MATES 64, 7800 Butts Road Building 9100, Fort Carson, CO 80913. Interested Contractors are highly encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference. The site visit will be held following the conference. Due to limited seating and security conditions, all offerors must register to attend this conference and site visit. Email the following information for all attendees to MAJ Richard Burtt at the following addresses: richard.burtt@us.army.mil or daniel.j.pagone@us.army.mil Firm Name and Telephone Number Visitor's Name, Company Name, Date of Birth and Social Security No. This registration will not gain you access to the site visit! Please see below for directions on getting on FT Carson. Visitors must pick up their passes at the Installation's Main Entry Gate prior to arrival. You will be required to present the following information upon arrival: (1) Vehicle Registration, (2) Valid Drivers License, (3) Proof of Insurance for Vehicle, (4) Safety Inspection and Car Rental agreement if applicable. Any of the above information furnished by you is protected under the Privacy Act and shall not be released unless permitted by law and/or you have consented to such. Please allow plenty of additional time to gain access to Ft. Carson as there will be many people trying to gain access. Again this is a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference.
