- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Demetrice Watson, Contracting Officer, email: demetrice.watson@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX1C0271AX, NOUN: Connecting Link, Rig, NSN: 3040-01-117-7365; P/N: 145CS360-3; CH-47; Quantity: 89 Min Qty/267Max Qty on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Basic + 2-100% Options type contract applicable to CH-47 with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 89 each, 275 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 89 each year until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 263 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 89 each 275 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 89 each year until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to: Western Sky Industries, LLC DBA Tyee Aircraft (CAGE Code: 34742) and The Boeing Company (CAGE Code: 77272) because this part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of the DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation however; solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
