- The Solicitation Number for this Request for Quote (RFQ) P11PS01753. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures pursuant to the authority of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Methods, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 423320 and the product service code is 5610.The Government will award a Firm Fixed Priced contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation. Offers will be evaluated based on best value to the Government which includes price and quality. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. All vendors must be registered and current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), (http//www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (http//orca.bpn.gov). Unless amendments are issued extending the solicitation, the offers are due by 2:00 P.M. Mountain Standard Time (MST), June 17, 2011. The contract will be awarded on or about June 30, 2011. REQURIEMENTS: 400 Tons - Asphalt Cold Mix. The product shall meet the following specifications: Road Patching Material product must be designed to meet NDDOT Specifications with the following contents: "5.5% SC-800 Petroleum oil product"60% Natural Fines Gravel"10% Crusher Dust"30% " Rock The product shall be delivered between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. MST at the mix pit areas of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The south unit mix pit is 6.5 miles inside the park from the main entrance. The north unit mix pit is 4.5 miles inside the north unit main park entrance. 300 tons will be delivered to the south unit and 100 tons will be delivered to the north unit. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition.
