Description

Request for Quote The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to procure name brand microwave network analyzer. Please see attachments. The proposed contract action is a request for quote for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with any qualified vendor under the authority of FAR Part 11.105(a) (1), the particular brand name, products, or feature is essential to the Government's requirements, and market research indicates other companies' similar products, or products lacking the particular feature, do not meet, or cannot be modified to meet, the agency's needs. The NAICS classification is 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals. The small business size standard is 500 employees.
