- NOTICE OF INTENT MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office, Tacoma, Washington, intends to award a firm fixed price order under FAR part 6.302-1 to Limbs & Things, Inc for a Pediatric Puncture Simulator and a Prompt Birthing Simulator, instruments and related items in the amount of $ 40,146.00 for a one - time purchase. The Simulator and instruments must be compatible with the existing Simulators located at the Andersen Simulation Center, Madigan Health Care Systems, Tacoma, WA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, information received within forty-five days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
