- SPECIAL NOTICE This special notice is to inform industry that based on the Defense Technical Information Center 's Information Analysis Centers revised contract construct way ahead, the government is in the process of developing the acquisition for the Cyber Security and Information Systems Information Analysis Center(CSIAC) Basic Center Operations (FA8075-R-11-0002): Details: • The BCO requirements include Information Collection, Processing, Management, Analysis, Dissemination, and other associated activities necessary in maintaining/operating the IAC's Scientific and Technical Information (STI) repository. In addition, the BCO contract will allow for the issuance of separately funded orders for Core Analysis Tasks (CATs). CATs will include basic R&D STI requirements, such as extended inquires, search and summaries, conferences, etc., that originate from evolving/emerging government requirements. CATs will be limited to a total of $500K per order, a period of performance of no more than 12 months, no more than one open order per customer, and shall not be for the purchase of hardware and/or software. • The CSIAC BCO acquisition will be solicited as 100% small business set aside. • Organizational Conflict of Information Restriction: The BCO contractor will be restricted from being a prime or a subcontractor on the DTIC multiple award IDIQ contracts for technical area tasks. • Anticipated Request for Proposal Release Dates: o CSIAC - 27-30 June 2011 No responses are requested at this time. Interested parties should continue to watch Federal Business Opportunities as the government will begin to post draft documents as they are developed.
