- Description
- Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC), Shreveport LA, requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and all other necessary items necessary to replace existing 440kw and 450kw emergency generators with two (2) new 600kw generators and all associated ATS gear at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, Louisiana. The project shall include replacement of the supply and exhaust louvers and all associated electrical and controls. The project also includes construction of a sound proof operator's booth inside the generator room. All work shall be in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications and current applicable code requirements. Cost magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The solicitation is to be issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210. This size standard is $14.0 Million per year. This information is only used for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Anticipated issued date is June 20, 2011 and anticipated date for receipt of offers is July 20, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Local Time. A pre-bid site visit is tentatively scheduled for June 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Local Time. All prospective SDVOSB offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizOpps website frequently to obtain any amendment(s) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the VetBiz and Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be considered for an award. A prospective awardee shall not only be registered in but also certified in the VetBiz database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from solicitation VA256-11-RP-0559.
