Description
Construct High Bay Hanger for the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) program. The Facility includes maintenance operations/administrative spaces, storage and work spaces, communication rooms, lab spaces, offices and administrative spaces, a Mission Control System (MCS), and IPT/PM spaces to support major acquisition and Test and Evaluation programs, and SCIF area. The project also includes a aircraft parking aprons, taxiway access, line vehicle parking spaces, Antenna Farm, Mobile Command Ground Station, Contractor Storage building, roadway and on-site parking, and site improvements. Supporting Facilities include information systems, computer flooring, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), fire protection and alarm systems, plumbing, electrical power distribution, lighting, utility development, and intrusion detection system. Built-in equipment includes freight elevator, an Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) system, 400HZ power, 5 ton Overhead Crane rails, and lighting protection. The project will conform to Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) standards that include a controlled perimeter, blast resistant glazing, mass notification system, and vehicle access control. In accordance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct) sustainable principals to achieve a LEEDS Silver Rating will be included into the design, development, and construction of the project.
