- The Regional Contracting Office, National Capital Region, Marine Corps Base Quantico Virginia currently has a requirement for Foreign Adversary-Fixed Wing and Rotary-Wing Aircraft Support Services for US Marine Corps Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1), Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, AZ 85364. The standards will be specified in the solicitation. All terms and conditions will be included in the solicitation. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is within the next several days on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link below. A closing date for receipt of proposals will be reflected in the solicitation. There will be a site visit/walk through of the facility conducted at 9:00 a.m. MST on 08 June 2011. Interested parties will meet at Building 952 Visitor Pass/Regs Gate at Marine Corps Base, Yuma, AZ. Anyone needing a pass to enter the base will be directed inside to complete paperwork. Once everyone has received proper paperwork to proceed on base, you will be taken to the location of the site visit. If you plan on attending please contact Ms. Reta Hicks at reta.hicks@usmc.mil or at (928) 269-6098 no later than 10:00 a.m. MST on 7 June 2011 for further instructions. Attendance to the site visit is required. It is required that all attendees please have proper identification in order to gain access on the base and in the site visit facility. No questions will be entertained during the site visit. This requirement will be awarded as a 100% small business set aside; using NAICS code 611512 with a $25.5 million size standard. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced web link (NECO) frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their copy of the RFP and amendments, if any. Please do not call the contact listed above for questions regarding the solicitation. The solicitation will identify how questions will be addressed by the Regional Contracting Office.
