- Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Wade Park Ambulette Services Solicitation Number: VA-250-11-RI-0183 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes VA Medical Center intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, based on proprietary issues and compatibility requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Provide-A-Ride Transportation, 23860 Miles Road, Warrensville HTS, OH 44128, for wheelchair (Ambulette) transportation services. The period of Performance will be from July 1st through September 30th, 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. A solicitation for Ambulette Transportation Services for the Wade Park Campus will be posted on FBO in the near future.
