- This is the Draft PWS of the requirements for Information Technology services. Solicitation: FA9300-11-R-0003 Agency/Office: Air Force Materiel Command Location: AFFTC - AF Flight Test Center Title: Advanced Research & Technology Enclave II (ARTEMIS II) Description(s): REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - Advanced Research & Technology Enclave II (ARTEMIS II) 1. Purpose. This is a Request For Information (RFI) for the Advanced Research & Technology Enclave II acquisition, not a Request for Proposal (RFP). A solicitation is not being issued at this time and this notice shall be not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This RFI is being published to identify potential sources for the Advanced Research & Technology Enclave II (ARTEMIS II) acquisition. This effort will provide support for the Air Force Research Laboratory, Propulsion Directorate (AFRL/RZ-West), Edwards AFB, CA. The NAICS Code for this proposed requirement is: 5171110 "Wired Telecommunications Carrier". The size standard for NAICS 517110 is 1500. Comments on this NAICS and suggestions for alternatives NAICS codes must include supporting rationale. This NAICS Code is subject to change based on the responses received. 2. Requirement. A. The objective of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) is to provide the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Edwards AFB, California, with on-site, professional, high quality, efficient and effective Information Technology (IT) Support to include all documentation, tools, labels, labor, personal protection equipment, vehicle(s), cell phones, pagers, and other equipment necessary to accomplish the tasks described in the PWS, hereby attached. 3. Compliance. A. All work shall comply with applicable Air Force, (AF), Department of Defense, (DoD), and local regulations and policies as well as local, state, and federal laws. The Contractor shall satisfy DoD and AF personnel, security, and information assurance requirements to include meeting required security background investigation requirements, Automated Information System positions, and information assurance certification. 4. Inquiries. A. Any questions relating to this notice must be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Teresa L. All interested offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, as well as be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be eligible for contract award or payment from any Department of Defense activity. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained at (https://www.bpn.gov). 5. Reply. A. The Government is requesting that interested offerors that can fully support this requirement furnish the following information: (1). Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Unique Numbering System (DUNS) number, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and e-mail address. (2). Type of business (i.e. small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc). under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 517110 which contains a size standard of 1500 employees. (3). Under which NAICS does your company usually perform all the services identified in the attached PWS? If different than 517110, please include the rationale for your answer. B. Submit a 10-page, double-spaced, 12-point font, white paper to Ms. Janice Laurenti, Contract Specialist, at Janice.laurenti@edwards.af.mil and Ms Teresa L. Weber, Contracting Officer, at teresa.weber@edwards.af.mil no later than 3:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on 13 June 2011. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this Notice.
