- The United States Geological Survey (USGS), California Water Science Center, Western Research Drilling Operation (WRDO) has a requirement for various drilling supplies including: 140 each: PVC 8" X 20' SCH 80 Flush Joint Threaded (FJT) Blank ; 6 each: PVC 8" X 20' SCH 80 Flush Joint Threaded (FJT) Screen 0.030 Slot Size; and 3 each 8" PVC pipe end caps. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is G11PS00480 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-50, Effective 16 May 2011 (includes 2005-51, effective 02 May 2011). Please see solicitation with CLINS, technical specifications, provisions, and clauses. The delivery date on or about 30 June 2011 and shall be delivered to Los Angeles, CA or will called at the contractor's facility in the Los Angeles, CA area. Quotations are due no later than 05:00pm PDT on 15 June 2011. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price type contract. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov, as well as, the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326122, Plastics Pipe and Pipe fitting Manufacturing and the size standard is 500 employees.
