- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT to conduct market research for determinations required by various Federal Acquisition Regulations. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized and posted at www.fbo.gov. The determination for this acquisition lies solely with the government based on this market research and the information available to the government from other sources. National Park Service, Intermountain Region is conducting this market research to ascertain if there are businesses which have the capability and experience to provide the following brand name or equal for high security fencing materials of the highest tensile strength (45,000psi) with the thickest galvanized coating available on the market. This sources sought is for Amistad National Recreation Area, Del Rio, Texas 78840 for the following: 30 each 10 x 8' Guardian Plus Industrial 4 rail 1' picket 16 ga or equal, 32 each 4' x 13' 11 ga post or equal, 2 each 10'H x 4'W Guardian Plus 4 R1 1' single swing gate or equal, (Gates to include latch which can accommodate a pad lock), 2 sets Barrel Hinges (Vendor to weld one part of the barrel hinge to gate frames), Color Bronze, Touchup Paint. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond to this announcement no later than June 15, 2011, 5:00 PM CDT, by registering as an interested vendor and submitting all requested documentation listed below to: National Park Service, Intermountain Region, ATTN: via email, ann_williams @nps.gov. Interested parties should submit a capabilities package demonstrating the ability to deliver materials listed above. Packages shall include the following information: (1) Business name, address, DUNS code and size standard,(2) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this requirement, and (3) demonstration of the firm's experience within the past five years, by listing the actual projects completed, customer's contact name and phone number for a customer knowledgeable of the work completed. Packages should be no more than 4 pages long. Responsible sources having relevant experience and the capabilities to perform the work will be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332323, Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of $7,000,000.
